Job Summary:
The Water Quality Scientist is responsible for conducting scientific research and analysis related to water quality, with a focus on assessing and monitoring the health and safety of water resources. Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in conducting scientific research and analysis related to water quality.
3. Strong knowledge of environmental science principles, water chemistry, and water quality parameters.
4. Proficiency in laboratory techniques including sample collection, handling, and analysis.
5. Experience with advanced analytical instruments such as spectrometers, chromatographs, and automated laboratory systems.
6. Familiarity with statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.
7. Ability to design and execute research projects, including developing sampling plans and protocols.
